Photocoin Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This privacy policy explains how the Photocoin app ("the app") handles your information. Your privacy matters to us, and the app is designed to collect as little data as possible.

Camera Access

Photocoin uses your device's camera so you can take a photo of coins and have the app count them. The camera is used only while you are actively using this feature. The app does not access the camera in the background.

On-Device Processing

All image analysis and coin counting happens entirely on your device. Photos you capture are processed locally to detect and count coins. The app does not upload, transmit, or send your photos or counting results to any server.

Data We Collect

Photocoin does not collect, store, or share any personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any device identifiers. We do not use analytics or advertising services, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Photos and Storage

Photos captured within the app are used only for the immediate purpose of counting coins. The app does not maintain its own database of your images or transmit them anywhere. If you choose to save a photo to your device's photo library, it is stored locally by you and governed by Apple's standard system permissions.

Third Parties

Photocoin does not share any information with third parties, because it does not collect any information to share.

Children's Privacy

Photocoin does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
