Pythagorean Tuner is a precision tuner for violinists, cellists, violists, bassists, and singers who play in true Pythagorean intonation, built on pure 3:2 perfect fifths. Unlike equal-tempered tuners, it places every sharp and flat at its true, distinct pitch, so a flat sits lower than its enharmonic sharp, just as string players hear it.

Data Not Collected

Pythagorean Tuner is built to respect your privacy completely.

Microphone: the app uses your microphone only to detect the pitch of the sound around it, in real time, entirely on your device.
No recording: audio is analyzed live and immediately discarded. Nothing you play is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted.
No data collection: the app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. It does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
No network use: the app does not send your data anywhere.
